I DON'T MIND THE NAME HAM. (ducks tomatoes)
I may be the only one. KA could name her man Spaghetti and I'd drop my panties for him. Ham to me is like a ramblin trucker nickname (CB radio). I also liked the name Hop. I'm easy.

Don't you call yourself Graham?
Would you call yourself Graham?

Graham cracker and cookie. Lol whateva.

KA makes Ham's imperfections visceral, almost too painful. He cares for Feb, he fights dirty, he creates doubt. Does he just want her cuz she's easy and fertile?
But his actions, and finally his words tell her strongly. She's his. Always was. He just was not that man then. He's the man now, for sure.
Ham is the man.

I had a ramblin man once. Had to let him go. Know the feelin', darlin.

I've been wishing for a travelin man book, love Zac Brown band colder weather song and felt like it needed a story by KA. This one is better than I wished for. it's like she wrote this story for me. Thank you kristen for this gift. Big bear hug.

She'd trade Colorado if he'd take her with him
Closes the door before the winter lets the cold in,
And wonders if her love is strong enough to make him stay,
She's answered by the tail lights shining through the window pane

He said I wanna see you again
But I'm stuck in colder weather
Maybe tomorrow will be better
Can I call you then?
She said you're ramblin' man
You ain't ever gonna change
You got a gypsy soul to blame
And you were born for leavin'
